3.   Setting up surveillance camera

Observing your workplace via Surveillance cameras.  Cameras are often connected to a recording device or IP network, which can be monitored on as needed basis.  One QC officer can monitor many locations at the same time.  This is a very effective way of inspecting your business and make employees aware that they are being watched at all times.

4.  Setting up a complaint / suggestion box (Physical or electronic)

The suggestion and complain box should be available for both the employees as well as for the customers.  As for the employees’ suggestion/complain boxes give them the opportunity to participate in decision making at work. As a result, they feel empowered and assume more ownership of their work.  As for the customers, they feel empowered, and assured that they are getting what they are paying for; in addition, customers can express their un-comfort which might leads to a serious bad consequence if not taken care of immediately.

 5.  Operational and Training Manual evaluation

Do you have an operational manual?  Let us start with this! Any business should have a detailed operational manual.  All employees should have the basic training; which describes what is expected from them, what to do, how to do it, and when to be done.  Do you have an emergency plan! Do you expect special cases? What is your rewarding system? What is the promoting scale? What is your training program?  Employees respect businesses that are transparent, clear, rewarding, and promote ambitions.
